Elections, appointments to Enterprise Florida board

 ORLANDO, Fla. (December 1, 2009) – Following is an update on recent elections and appointments to the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors:

Newly elected:

• Andrew Corty, president, Florida Trend magazine
• Gordon L. Gillette, president of TECO Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas

New appointments:

• Danny Gaekwad, president of NDS USA, Ocala -- appointed by Florida House Speaker Larry Cretul
• Don Phillips, managing director, Phillips Development and Realty, Tampa -- appointed by Governor Charlie Crist
• Hal R. Valeche, president of York Street Capital Advisors, Palm Beach Gardens --  appointed by Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater.

  Re-elected at-large members:

• Michael Griffin, Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista
• Jerry Ray, The St. Joe Company, Jacksonville
• Jeffrey Shuman, Harris Corporation, Melbourne
• Dave Walsh, Mitsubishi Power Systems, Inc., Orlando
